Q. Can San Sui Soy Beverage be used in the same recipes as dairy milk?

A. San Sui Soy Beverage can be used as a straight substitution for dairy milk in many recipes. The main exception is with instant pudding mixes, in which case you should double the amount of pudding mix or halve the amount of Soy Beverage. Also, San Sui Soy Beverage cannot be whipped, as it does not contain enough fat. However, it can be frothed, so using San Sui Soy Beverage with your latte or cappuccino will be perfectly fine.

Q. What is a serving size of San Sui Soy Beverage or tofu?

A. A serving of Vitasoy Soy Beverage is 1 cup or 8 oz.

A serving of Vitasoy tofu is ½ cup or about 3 oz.

Q. Can San Sui Soy Beverage be heated?

A. Yes, you can heat the San Sui Soy Beverage.

Q. Can San Sui Soy Beverage be frozen?

A. Yes, San Sui Soy Beverage can be frozen, but it is not a recommended way to store the product. When thawing, the soy protein and soybean oil will separate from the liquid. White protein and oil flakes may be visible, which may not be aesthetically pleasing. However, it is safe to consume. Blending in a processor will not reverse this effect.

Q. Is lumpy Soy Beverage a sign of spoilage?

A. In an effort to keep San Sui Soy Beverage as natural as possible, we choose not to use any stabilizers. Therefore, on occasion the soy protein may form into lumps, which usually dissipate upon shaking. As long as there are no signs of spoilage, including a sour smell or taste, the soy protein is safe to consume.

Q. Does San Sui Soy Beverage contain any animal products or by-products?

A. San Sui Soy Beverage does not contain any animal products or by-products.  We only use ingredients that are all natural and non-GMO.  San Sui Soy Beverage is made in the Hong Kong, approved by the strictest quality assurance inspection.

Q. Once I open a pack of San Sui Soy Beverage, how soon should I finish it?

A. We recommend you should finish it within 7 days after opening.  After opening, please refrigerate to retain its freshness.
